Dear Team ATOMIC,
Before we charge headlong into this new year, I want to take a moment to reflect on and acknowledge some of the great things that occurred in 2019.
It’s amazing to see what has happened since this time last year. A few buzz words that come to mind are the InBody body composition analyzer, new memberships, renovating the 3rd floor, Limelight Media, Transformation Sessions, Matt Smedra, jujitsu tournaments, increased rates, team lunches, huddles, calls, new equipment, exposed brick that turned into renovating the black room, a gold medal, a glass door on 3 creating an office and Alphonso White! Only to only mention a few…
There’s never a dull moment at ATF. Still 2019 kinda kicked ass.
We ended the year up 8.3% YOY compared to 2018!
There were a ton of renovations last year and you all made it work despite the near constant upheaval. Thanks for that. More good news, because we did so much last year we will not have to tear up the space in a disruptive way at all this year! Pinky promise.
With pride and admiration we say goodbye to Gary and TJ, two of our stalwart trainers. Their warm personalities and impeccable sessions will be sorely missed. However, these changes are nothing more than growing pains all non-fragile businesses must survive. Besides, TJ is going on the adventure of a lifetime. We can’t blame him for choosing world travel over the grind of NYC. TJ you know the door here at ATF is always open.
As for Gary, well Gary is actually not leaving at all. As you know, he will be handling all customer service issues from the comfort of his home in Baltimore. If you have an issue with Mind Body, scheduling a client, billing or just need to vent, Gary is there for you. If we run out of kleenex, let him know! Seriously. As always use information@atomictotalfitness.com for communication and feel free to copy gary@atomictotalfitness.com if it’s more urgent.
Most importantly, we are poised and primed to do BIG things in 2020 and beyond. That means more Transformation Sessions (i.e. first workouts), full schedules, better sessions and happier athletes! That said, I want to continue to invest in each of you more through coaching and education. I’ll be using the private Facebook group to share and discuss business and training best practices.
We have hard work ahead and are ready for the challenge! I am so thankful to be a part of this team and this community. I am thankful for the people who come in and work hard everyday to try to make their lives better through training with us. I’m proud of you guys for your tireless customer service and dedication. It’s truly an honor to work with you all. So let’s lace up and prepare to confront anything and everything that comes our way this year. It’s going to require a shoulder to shoulder team effort to get the results we need. Therefore, everyone has to be at the top of their game. I know you’re all up to the task. This is it. The time is now.I hope you had a great break, holiday season and look forward to an even better 2020!
To each of you, THANK YOU and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Adam
